The TAIN PARTNER PROGRAM is created to add value to our existing and new projects, specifically ensuring that the technical integration of products/services are current and performed to the highest quality standards. This level of quality and certification will help build both firms' reputations, particularly around the quality, reliability and market applicability. This helps in enabling PARTNERS to increase operating efficiencies and streamline administrative tasks. The potential PARTNER is required to complete a PARTNER Form. The form is then reviewed to evaluate whether the proposed product or service aligns with TAIN's strategy. The evaluation period may be reviewed over a number of weeks to ensure that the product or service fits with TAIN's understanding of the market and customer requirements. It may also include a review of the market for that particular product or service to ensure that the most appropriate alliance is formed.
Once these stages have been completed, commercial discussions commence with the potential PARTNER, prior to a contractual agreement being signed. PARTNERS receive access to a password protected section of the Partner Programme website, from where they can access relevant information to help them develop products and services that are optimized for TAIN. When appropriate, the Partner submits their products or services for conformance testing by TAIN. Upon successful conformance testing, the PARTNER's product details are included in the TAIN PARTNER PROGRAM. Upon successful completion of each stage of the PARTNER PROGRAM the evaluation process is initiated to look at progression to the next stage

Once you are convinced that you and your firm are interested, able and willing to enter the TAIN PARTNER PROGRAM, please fill out the Partner Form in full as required and submit it online.
A Two-Step Plan

TECHNICAL EVALUATION PROCESS
Evaluating Business Needs:
The evaluation team is made up of representatives from all key stakeholder groups. This allows for clear reporting to stakeholders as the process proceeds and for balanced discussions. A base set of scorecard categories and a base scorecard is the default for any evaluation. A good starting set is: business requirements, technical requirements, usability and PARTNER health. We then discuss deviations from the process upfront for a given evaluation which increases the sense of transparency and is critical to generate the buy-in necessary to successfully move from evaluation and selection to implementation.
Request & Assess Offers:
Once you understand the requirements that our evaluation team works with and how we score PARTNERS we evaluate, the next step is to gather the information necessary to fill in the scorecard and to create a shortlist of PARTNERS for interviews and, where appropriate, proof-of-concept activities. We send out a request for information (RFI). We ascertain if you have a solid understanding of the market? Are you ready to submit a proposal? If the answer to these questions is "yes" then we send out a request for proposal (RFP) directly to each of the potential PARTNERS. Often, PARTNERS are more responsive to requests that have quantifiable requirements and monetary goals than to general requests for information. After we get the information we need, our goal is to see if any PARTNER fails to meet our "must have" requirements. We then evaluate which PARTNERS withdrew from consideration and why.
Finally, we work with the evaluation team to document who made the short-list and why. Everything is then documented so that the evaluation team has clear logic to support the short-list decision and there is a clear transparency in the decision making process.
PARTNER Interviews & Proof-of-Concepts:
Once the evaluation team has a short-list, it moves quickly to invite PARTNERS to engage in interviews as per a set schedule.
All PARTNERS get an agenda in advance and each member of the evaluation team is present for each meeting. If the evaluation involves a process or technology, we consider a proof-of-concept as a piece of the PARTNER interview process. There is always a section of the evaluation scorecard that includes PARTNER interviews. These are important because they will demonstrate the personality of the PARTNER and their level of commitment to our account.
COMMERCIAL EVALUATION PROCESS
After the PARTNER interviews end and all of the evaluation teams' questions are answered, the team picks the finalists for negotiation. TAIN uses the scorecard to make the determination. It is generally easier to complete the scorecard with preliminary pricing allowing TAIN to narrow the field to the clear scorecard leaders and then to revisit the scorecard as the negotiating process continues with the few remaining PARTNERS. Finalized pricing will give the evaluation team the last element of the scorecard. To generate the buy-in necessary for implementation, it is important for the evaluation team to present the final scorecard to the broader stakeholder group and answer any questions about the recommended PARTNER that may come up. By implementing a flexible and repeatable model for evaluations we give all stakeholder groups comfort that the evaluation was fair and complete, which gives the resulting projects the legitimacy they need to succeed.
